What happens today

Implemented

Visitors can read the public site without submitting a form. If the Help Build It form is active and a visitor chooses to submit it, the server sends the provided details to the designated project inbox. The site also includes Vercel Analytics and Speed Insights, and hosting infrastructure may process routine technical information to operate, secure, and measure the site.

  • The form requests a name, email, optional organization and region, selected area of interest, optional short message, consent, and a foundation-stage acknowledgment.
  • A Blueprint PDF request uses this same form and is reviewed and fulfilled manually. The PDF is not delivered automatically.
  • A submission does not create a participant record, place an animal, accept a donation, or establish a partnership.
  • This notice does not claim that the site is cookie-free, analytics-free, or free of infrastructure logs under every hosting configuration.
  • External links are governed by their destination sites once a visitor leaves this website.

The form has narrow boundaries

Form details are used only to respond to expressed interest, route a limited inquiry, manage follow-up, or review a Blueprint PDF request. The application does not store submissions in a project database; delivery and mailbox providers may retain operational copies under their configured terms and controls.

  • The form would not approve a foster, create a placement, approve housing, establish a partnership, accept a donation, make an employment decision, or create an animal case.
  • The project does not sell personal information.

Do not submit sensitive animal, foster screening, medical, behavioral, housing, financial, identification, legal, or emergency information through the interest form.

Privacy remains a production control

In review

The actual delivery configuration and published notice must remain aligned. Provider access, retention, deletion, and incident handling require ongoing review.

  • Approved data map; reviewed service provider and contract terms; defined retention period; and a documented deletion and access-request process.
  • Role-based access controls, security review, an incident-response path, consent and notice aligned to the real workflow, and qualified legal review.
  • Accessible error, success, and confirmation behavior, plus verified delivery and storage testing.

Have a privacy question the project needs to answer?

The current informational pages explain the model and its boundaries. When active, the Help Build It form provides a limited way to contact the project or request the Blueprint PDF.
